RANE WILLERSLEV is Professor of Anthropology and a Fellow of Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies and Arctic Research Center, Aarhus University. He is the author of Soul hunters: Hunting, animism and personhood among the Siberian Yukaghirs (University of California Press, 2007) and On the run in Siberia (University of Minnesota Press, 2012). He is also the editor (with Christian Suhr) of Transcultural montage (Berghahn Books, 2013) and (with Dorthe Refslund Christensen) of Taming time, timing death: Social technologies and ritual (Ashgate, 2013), and (with Ton Otto) of Value as Theory (HAU double special issue, 2013).
